IEC Young Professionals Workshop, 15–20 November 2026, Hamburg, Germany
SESKO ry will implement the 2025 RDI Award Program (Research, Development and Innovation) for universities, higher education institutions, and universities of applied sciences at the end of 2025. The program continues the tradition of previous years and rewards innovative research and development projects that promote electrotechnical standardization, in accordance with updated target groups and themes.
The future of global conformity assessment is shaped by a shared vision of inclusivity, collaboration, and the integration of emerging technologies. Leaders including IEC President Jo Cops, IEC Conformity Assessment Board (IEC CAB) member Markus Ahvenus, and newly nominated IEC CAB alternate member Jafar Keshvari, have articulated their perspectives on how these elements will define the IEC’s role in standardization and conformity assessment in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
