Electrical Consulting Engineers 50th Anniversary

The SESKO member community Electrical Consulting Engineers NSS celebrated its 50^th anniversary at the Old Student House in Helsinki on 14.10.2016. The chairman of the organisation, Juha Kiviniemi, welcomed all 160 guests. The Managing Director of SKOL, Matti Mannonen, congratulated the sprightly 50-year-old organisation and in his greeting emphasized how we at this moment globally live in a strong transition period. Globalisation, digitalisation and robotisation will in the coming years change the working and living environments for both electrical engineers as well as all other operators. The retired Managing Director of ENSTO, Seppo Martikainen, gave an entertaining ceremonial speech.

Electrical Consulting Engineers NSS rewarded 20 of their active members and other people that have significantly contributed to electrical engineers’ operation with a gold medal, and invited five persons to be honorary members. SESKO Managing Director Sinikka Hieta-Wilkman also received a gold medal.
